DESCRIPTION

RevStar partnered with USFCR to design and implement an AWS-native Opportunity Data Lake that automates the ingestion of government bid opportunities from state, county, and municipal sources.

RESULTS

Created a scalable opportunity intelligence platform that delivers near real-time bid updates, expands government opportunity coverage, improves data freshness, and establishes a reusable architecture for onboarding new jurisdictions across the United States.

The Challenge

As USFCR continued expanding its government contracting platform, the organization recognized an opportunity to provide customers with broader and more timely access to government bid opportunities.

Expanding beyond federal opportunities to include state, county, and municipal solicitations required a scalable approach capable of collecting, processing, and delivering large volumes of opportunity data from a growing number of public sources.

To support continued platform growth and strengthen its competitive position, USFCR sought to establish an AWS-native data foundation that could automate bid discovery, improve data freshness, and enable rapid expansion into additional jurisdictions while providing customers with more comprehensive opportunity intelligence.

The Problem

The team needed a more scalable way to collect, normalize, and manage government bid opportunities from a growing number of public data sources. Existing approaches limited the breadth and timeliness of available opportunities, making it increasingly important to establish an automated data platform capable of supporting nationwide expansion and improving customer access to new bid opportunities.

The Solution

RevStar partnered with USFCR to design an AWS-native Opportunity Data Lake that automates the collection, processing, and delivery of government bid opportunities from state, county, and municipal sources. Working as an extension of the client's team, RevStar implemented scalable web scraping pipelines, centralized data storage, and automated ingestion workflows capable of supporting continuous opportunity updates and future geographic expansion.

By combining cloud-native data engineering with intelligent ingestion automation, USFCR established a scalable foundation for delivering near real-time bid intelligence while improving opportunity visibility and supporting long-term platform growth.

The Team

We have a growing cost-effective hybrid team, with onshore Product Managers and developers from our build center in Colombia. Operating three parallel teams for different products and support.

Results

Transformed government opportunity discovery through cloud-native data engineering and intelligent data automation. By combining real-time web scraping, centralized data management, and scalable AWS infrastructure, USFCR expanded opportunity coverage, improved bid data freshness, and established a reusable platform capable of supporting future nationwide growth and increased customer engagement.
